It was a very quiet night, and I went outside with my camera. I set it on top of my car. Set the shutter speed for 10 sec. at f/4.0. When you take such a long exposure, those ten seconds seem to take forever. But it payed off, cause I'm happy with the result.

While taking a ride up Paddock Avenue, this morning, I was able to capture this image of the sun rising. I don't know where all the cows are, that I usually see over here. It was only 4F degrees out, so, mabe it was too cold for them to be out.

Another beautiful older home in Meriden, CT, where I grew up, and am presently living. This house just caught my eye, as I was driving down Curtis Street. Reminds me of a gingerbread house. It looks as though most of my 2010 project is taking place outdoors, which is always nice. I feel more inspired to shoot, when I'm out and about.

This is the Frozen Foods, walk in freezer, at Stop and Shop supermarket in Meriden, CT. It can hold up to 12 pallets of frozen food, and there is another one next to it that also holds up to 12 pallets.

That's right. This is a cell phone image!
I manage a Frozen Food department in a very busy supermarket. There are many pallets, delivered daily, that have to be worked to the shelfves. That's where I come in. I thought this would make a nice POD. I used photoshop to remove the grain, and get back some of the contrast and color that was lost by me using a cheap cell phone to capture this image. I hope to use several different cameras during this project.
